A new kind of lamb set to spark a renaissance in the global appetite for premium meat has been launched by New Zealand Prime Minister Bill English at a reception in Hong Kong.

Presenting her candidacy for the post of the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General, the Administrator of the UN Development Programme (UNDP) Helen Clark, said today “I have led the UNDP to its current ranking to the most transparent development organization in the world and I want to bring that approach to the UN too.”

Breaking down trade barriers and a free trade agreement (FTA) with the European Union will be on the agenda for New Zealand Primary Industries Minister Nathan Guy in Europe this week.
