FrieslandCampina Asia Wins Bronze Stevie Award

FrieslandCampina, one of the world’s leading dairy companies, was named the winner of the Bronze Stevie® Award in the “Innovation in Public Affairs Communications” category in the third annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards 2016.

The prestigious business award honours FrieslandCampina Asia’s commitment to being a conduit for collective action and bringing about positive outcomes for various stakeholders across the dairy sector via an innovative approach to public affairs communications. Having amplified its efforts in engaging stakeholders, the award recognises FrieslandCampina Asia’s work in collectively debating policy and regulatory changes and driving innovation through various multi-sector collaborations.

FrieslandCampina has been partnering closely with external stakeholders in improving the livelihoods of dairy farmers across Asia through its ‘Dairy Development Program’ and promoting the importance of healthy lifestyles and diets through initiatives such as its highly successful ‘Drink.Move.BeStrong’ campaign. By leveraging on the regional initiatives, FrieslandCampina Asia was able to proactively educating external stakeholders on the important role that the dairy industry plays in addressing food and nutrition security.

More than 600 nominations from organisations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year. The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognise innovation in the workplace in all 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programmes such as The International Business Awards for more than a decade.
